RAMAPO LITTLE LEAGUE

T-Ball DIVISION RULES

·    No batter will strike out. They must hit the ball off the tee.

·    Bat the entire roster per inning there are no outs.

·    Managers and coaches are allowed onto the field at any time to help players , teach them how it’s done!

·    Parents, relatives, or friends, are not allowed in the dugout or field during the course of a game or pre - game warm-ups.  Failure to adhere to this rule may result in the suspension of the manager for 1 game.  Repeated violations may incur a longer suspension.

·    No player should be behind the batter at any time. There is no catcher in T-Ball

·    The sides are retired when all players on the roster have batted once.

·    No infielders are to position themselves in front of the pitchers mound while waiting for a batter to hit the ball.

·    All players play the field.

·    All games will be held to a maximum of 1 and ½ hours.

·    There is no score kept. We are teaching these children baseball (some for the first time) in this division.

·    Runners may advance one (1) base on any overthrow; we don’t want kids just running around all the bases after the hit the ball 5 feet from the pitchers mound.

·    Players not on the field should always be in the dugout or behind the fence. We don’t want players running around while their team is up at bat. Let them learn from watching others.

·    Rainouts are not made up unless both teams agree and commissioner and player agent can find available fields.

MANDATORY RULE:  TWO (2) ADULTS
